(Kindergarten) Teacher Must-Haves from Amazon

Hey everyone! I'll introduce myself a little more in another post but I wanted to let you know of some MUST-HAVES I use in my classroom that are beneficial for myself, my students and hopefully you! By learning about my favorite things, you will also learn a little bit about me, too!

1.      Doorbell - This doorbell has been amazing for me! Instead of my yelling or using my voice to get my students’ attention, I have put the doorbell button in a hand sanitizer holder and put it on my lanyard for easy access. The sound part of the doorbell just plugs into the wall. It has many different chimes and volumes!

2.      Breakaway Lanyard – This lanyard is geared towards female teachers. It’s stylish and goes with almost all of my outfits but the most important part is that it’s a breakaway lanyard! I usually have some students in my classroom who have aggressive behaviors. If they become aggressive towards me, I can rip the lanyard off so they don’t pull it and hurt me.

3.      Giant Post-its – I’ve made anchor charts from big paper or paper with lines and had to use magnets or tape to hold them up. But these are a real game changer. These giant post-it notes are perfect for posters and anchor charts. I make the anchor chart with my class and I can put it anywhere in the classroom quickly because of the stickiness at the top!

4.      BEST PENS EVER - If you ask almost any teacher what their favorite pen is- it’s probably going to be this one. The way it writes makes you want to grade all night or take notes all day! It’s truly the best pen I have ever used.
